Dar Es Salaam - Mikumi National Park For Game Drive

You will be picked up early in the morning from your hotel in Dar es Salaam by a professional driver-guide from Wildebeest Footsteps Adventures and begin the drive to Mikumi National Park via Morogoro, enjoying scenic views of the countryside and local villages along the way, arriving around midday for check-in at your lodge or tented camp and lunch, followed by an afternoon game drive across the Mkata Floodplain where you may see elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, lions, and a variety of bird species, before returning to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

Full Day Game Drive inside Mikumi National Park for Game Drive

After an early breakfast at the lodge, you will depart for a full day of game drives inside Mikumi National Park, exploring different areas including open savannahs, waterholes, and hippo pools where wildlife is abundant, with opportunities to spot predators such as lions and hyenas as well as large herbivores like elephants and buffaloes, enjoying a picnic lunch inside the park followed by further afternoon game viewing and photography before returning to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

Lodge - Back to Dar Es Salaam

Following breakfast and check-out from the lodge, you will begin the drive back to Dar es Salaam with a short optional morning Maasai Boma Visits if time allows, then proceed through Morogoro with a lunch stop en route, continuing the journey to Dar es Salaam where you will arrive in the late afternoon and be dropped off at your hotel, residence, or the airport, marking the end of your safari with Wildebeest Footsteps Adventures.
