Spend a full day discovering the Mara’s rich biodiversity. Begin with a morning game drive, when lions, cheetahs, and leopards are most active. Return to the lodge for brunch and a short rest before heading out for an afternoon game drive, possibly spotting hyenas, jackals, or rare antelope species. Optional activities include an early morning hot air balloon safari, floating over the savannah with wildlife spotting from above, followed by a champagne bush breakfast (at an extra cost). Another option is a visit to a Maasai village, where you can meet local families, learn traditional dances, and understand their deep connection to the land. After breakfast, depart the Mara and drive to the Tanzania border at Isebania. After border formalities, continue into Tanzania, passing scenic villages, acacia woodlands, and vast plains. Enter Serengeti National Park, the birthplace of the Great Migration, and enjoy a game drive en route to your midrange tented camp. The Serengeti is known for its endless horizons and abundant wildlife, and even en route you may spot elephants, giraffes, or wildebeest. Arrive at the camp in the late afternoon, relax with tea or coffee, and take a short evening game drive to spot nocturnal animals. Dinner and overnight at the camp.
