Upon arrival at either Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by Armadillo adventures professional safari guide and transferred to your lodge in Arusha. The remainder of the day is yours to relax and settle in, allowing you to recover from your journey and get ready for the adventure ahead. Day 2

Early in the morning after breakfast, you will depart from your lodge and set off on a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, carrying packed lunch boxes for the day.
Renowned for its vast elephant herds and striking diversity of landscapes, Tarangire offers sweeping savannas, seasonal swamps, and the life-giving Tarangire River that draws wildlife throughout the year. During your game drive, you may witness lions on the hunt or spot leopards resting gracefully in the trees.

After breakfast, you will depart with your safari guide for Lake Eyasi, home to the fascinating Hadzabe tribe. Renowned as one of the last true hunter-gatherer communities in East Africa, the Hadzabe are celebrated for their exceptional hunting skills. You will have the rare opportunity to join them and witness their traditional hunting techniques firsthand.
Your cultural experience continues with a visit to the Datoga tribe, a pastoral community famous for their remarkable blacksmithing craftsmanship. Here, you will observe how they forge tools and ornaments using age-old methods.
Later, enjoy a leisurely walk around Lake Eyasi and explore a nearby local village, offering deeper insight into everyday life in the area. This is an optional activity at no additional cost.

Upon arrival, you will embark on rewarding game drives through the park’s diverse habitats. Later in the afternoon, after completing the game drives, you will continue to your lodge to relax, enjoy a freshly prepared dinner, and settle in for an overnight stay.
Lake Manyara National Park is celebrated for its remarkable biodiversity and scenic beauty. It is especially famous for its tree-climbing (arboreal) lions, often spotted resting among the branches of acacia and fig trees. The Park is also home to large, energetic troops of baboons that dominate the lush groundwater forest and frequently escort visitors along the entrance road, creating a lively and unforgettable introduction to the park.

On this day you will have a Leisurely morning, after breakfast you will get a chance to explore the charming streets of Karatu town and pick up some local souvenirs. We will head to Arusha Airport for your flight to Zanzibar. On arrival at Abeid Amani Karume International Airport, a driver will be ready to take you on a private transfer to your hotel in the heart of Stone Town. In the evening, get to experience the lively Forodhani Gardens night market for local Swahili cusines.

We will start the day with a leisurely morning before heading out for a guided tour of Stone Town, the UNESCO World Heritage site. Wander through its winding streets, discovering historic sites like the House of Wonders, the Sultan’s Palace, and the Old Fort, while stopping by the bustling spice markets and local shops. Around mid-morning, we’ll take a short boat ride to Prison Island, also known as Changuu Island. Here, you can explore the historic prison ruins, meet the famous giant Aldabra tortoises, and enjoy optional swimming or snorkeling in the clear waters. After this island adventure, we’ll return by boat to Stone Town in the early afternoon, where you can relax at your hotel or enjoy lunch at a local café. After a leisurely breakfast, we will visit a traditional Zanzibar spice farm, where you can stroll through fragrant gardens and see how spices like cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla are grown and harvested. Your guide will demonstrate how to identify, smell, and taste the fresh spices, giving you an authentic insight into Zanzibar’s rich agricultural heritage. Afterwards, we will continue to Jozani Chwaka Bay National Park, home to the rare red colobus monkeys and a variety of unique flora and fauna. Enjoy a guided walk through the lush forest, mangrove boardwalks, and swamp areas, observing monkeys, birds, and other wildlife in their natural habitat. After this nature-filled adventure, we will transfer to your beach resort in Nungwi or Kendwa, where you can relax, enjoy the pristine white sands, and take in the stunning Indian Ocean views.

Once there, plunge into the crystal-clear waters to snorkel among dazzling coral formations teeming with colorful reef fish, and keep your eyes open for dolphins that often playfully swim alongside the boats. After your snorkeling experience, return to the beach to unwind on the soft white sand, or take part in optional activities such as kayaking through the calm waters or a serene sunset dhow cruise, soaking in the golden hues of the Indian Ocean. As the day comes to an end, a private transfer will ensure you reach the airport or ferry terminal comfortably for your onward journey.
