Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, depart Arusha for Tarangire National Park. Enjoy a full game drive through vast savannahs dotted with ancient baobab trees and the Tarangire River, home to large elephant herds, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and diverse birdlife. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park. In the late afternoon, drive to Eileen’s Trees Inn in Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Karatu-Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater. Enjoy a game drive on the crater floor, where you can spot the Big Five, hippos, flamingos, and abundant wildlife in a breathtaking setting. Enjoy a picnic lunch near the hippo pool. In the afternoon, ascend the crater and return to Eileen’s Trees Inn for dinner and overnight.

Lake-Eyasi-Arusha

Early in the morning, depart for Lake Eyasi to meet the Hadzabe (Bushmen), one of the last hunter-gatherer tribes in Africa. Join them on a traditional hunting experience, learn about their unique lifestyle, survival skills, and ancient traditions. After the cultural visit, enjoy lunch before driving back to Arusha in the afternoon.
