Day 1: Arusha – Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, you'll depart from Arusha for Tarangire National Park. You'll enjoy a full game drive through vast savannahs dotted with ancient baobab trees and the Tarangire River, home to large elephant herds, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and diverse birdlife. You will enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park. In the late afternoon, you'll drive to Eileen’s Trees Inn in Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay.

Karatu-Ngorongoro Crater

After an early breakfast, you'll drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater. You'll enjoy a game drive on the crater floor, where you can spot the Big Five, hippos, flamingos, and abundant wildlife in a breathtaking setting. You will enjoy a picnic lunch near the hippo pool. In the afternoon, you will ascend the crater and return to Eileen’s Trees Inn for dinner and an overnight stay.

Lake Eyasi-Arusha

Early in the morning, you will depart for Lake Eyasi to meet the Hadzabe (Bushmen), one of the last hunter-gatherer tribes in Africa. You'll join them on a traditional hunting experience, learn about their unique lifestyle, survival skills, and ancient traditions. After the cultural visit, you will enjoy lunch before driving back to Arusha in the afternoon. We will drop you off at your hotel or at the airport for departure.
