Flying from Zanzibar to Serengeti National Park

You will be collected from your hotel in Zanzibar and transferred to Zanzibar Airport for your scheduled flight directly to Serengeti National Park. The flight lasts approximately one and a half hours and provides stunning aerial views before landing at a centrally located Serengeti airstrip.

On arrival, you will be met by your professional safari guide and depart on a late-morning game drive, heading straight into the heart of the park. While traversing the endless plains, you may spot a diverse range of wildlife, including lions, elephants, giraffes, and large herds of plains game.

Later in the day, you will enjoy a freshly prepared hot lunch, followed by further game viewing across the Serengeti’s classic landscapes. As evening approaches, you will transfer to your well-positioned lodge within the park, where you can relax before dinner and an overnight stay, accompanied by the natural sounds of the African bush.

Explore Serengeti National Park

Your day begins at sunrise with an early morning game drive. After a light breakfast of coffee or tea and snacks, you will set out at approximately 06 a.m. The ideal time to witness predators returning from the hunt and wildlife becoming active on the plains. The game drive continues until late morning, around 9:00 am when you return to the lodge for a full, hearty breakfast.

After breakfast, you will continue your exploration of Serengeti National Park, driving toward a different region of the park in search of diverse wildlife while enjoying sweeping views of the endless savannah. A picnic lunch will be served during the game drive, allowing you to enjoy the wilderness without interruption.

In the late afternoon, you will make your way back to the lodge for relaxation. Dinner will be served in the evening, followed by an overnight stay immersed in the sounds and atmosphere of the African bush.

Sunrise Game Drive - Fly Out

On your last day in the Serengeti, you will set out on a morning game drive in the central region of the park, savoring your final opportunities to explore the expansive plains.
Following this enriching wildlife experience, you will be transferred to Seronera Airstrip for your scheduled afternoon flight back to Zanzibar, marking the conclusion of your Serengeti safari.
