Nairobi -Masai Mara National Reserve

Your safari begins with a morning pick-up from your hotel in Nairobi or from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA). You will then travel through the scenic Great Rift Valley, passing rolling hills and rural landscapes. Along the way, there will be a stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint, where you can take in the breathtaking panoramas and capture memorable photos. Continue the journey to the Maasai Mara National Reserve, arriving around midday. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge or tented camp and enjoy lunch. Later in the afternoon, embark on your first game drive across the Mara plains, where you may spot elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and various antelope species. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Full Day in Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, set out for a full day of game drive with your tour guide. The Maasai Mara is home to diverse wildlife and dramatic landscapes, and today you will explore riverine areas, open plains, and woodland patches to maximize wildlife sightings. A picnic lunch can be arranged within the reserve, allowing you to continue observing wildlife in their natural habitat. Optional activities include an early morning hot air balloon safari over the Mara plains, followed by a champagne bush breakfast, an unforgettable way to see the park from above. In the late afternoon, you may also visit a Maasai village to learn about the culture and traditions of the local community. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Masai Mara National Reserve – Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, depart the Maasai Mara and travel to Lake Nakuru National Park, located in the Great Rift Valley. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, take a game drive around the park, which is famous for its large flocks of flamingos, as well as black and white rhinos, Rothschild’s giraffes, and tree-climbing lions. Lake Nakuru also hosts numerous bird species, making it a paradise for bird watchers. Return to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
