As the city’s bustle fades, the road winds through rolling hills, lush countryside, and vibrant towns, offering glimpses of daily life along the way. Travelers pass through Masaka and Mbarara, pausing for refreshments or a quick lunch before continuing deeper into the heart of the country. The landscape gradually transforms, with tea plantations, banana groves, and terraced farms painting the hillsides in rich greens. Approaching Kabale, the air grows cooler and the terrain more mountainous, signaling the gateway to Bwindi.
