Mokoro Day Trip, one of Botswana’s most iconic and peaceful safari activities. This unforgettable excursion offers guests an intimate way to explore the Delta’s winding waterways, lush floodplains, and rich wildlife.

The day begins with a transfer from Maun to a mokoro station in the Okavango Delta. Upon arrival, guests are warmly welcomed by experienced local polers, who skillfully guide the mokoro through crystal-clear channels lined with papyrus reeds and water lilies.

As you glide silently through the Delta, enjoy exceptional birdlife. The tranquility of the mokoro allows for close encounters with nature & excellent photography opportunities.

Guided nature walk on one of the Delta’s islands, where a professional guide shares insights into the ecosystem, animal tracks, medicinal plants, & local traditions. A picnic lunch is enjoyed in a scenic wilderness setting before continuing the mokoro journey
