1-Day Mount Kenya Trip

• A transfer from the airport can be arranged for an extra cost.

Your driver will pick you up from your hotel in Nairobi at 6:30 AM, then drive to Nanyuki town for 3 hours. Take another 40-minute drive to Sirimoni gate, where you will start your walk. Clear with KWS at the gate, then start a walk for 9 kilometers up to Old Moses Camp with your guide. You will walk through the bamboo and indigenous forests, spotting colobus monkeys, unique bird species, and take in spectacular views of Mount Kenya’s rugged peaks and alpine scenery. Batian and Nelion peaks will be visible from Old Moses camp. Here, you can take good photographs of the peaks. At 1500 hrs, return to the gate and drive back to Nairobi, marking the end of the trip.
