As we explore, you’ll encounter monkeys, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffalo, and elephants, and with a little luck, spot lions lounging high in the trees. Lake Manyara is celebrated for its variety of landscapes-from open grassy plains to primate-filled woodlands and dramatic, baobab-studded cliffs.

Day 5
Central Serengeti National Park
Central Serengeti National Park
Today is fully dedicated to exploring the Serengeti on morning and afternoon game drives. This legendary park is home to an incredible abundance of wildlife, including impalas, buffalo, hippos, and crocodiles, but it is perhaps most famous for the Great Migration of wildebeest, zebras, and antelope. The timing of this epic journey is guided by the rains: from November to December, the herds move from the wooded northern regions to the lush southern plains, while during the long rains of April to June, they begin their return north.
Beyond the migrating herds, you may encounter the Serengeti’s resident predators, lions, leopards, and cheetahs, playing out the circle of life in the wild. After a day filled with unforgettable wildlife encounters, we’ll return to your accommodation to relax, enjoy dinner, and spend the night surrounded by the vast, timeless plains.

After breakfast, we’ll depart the Serengeti and journey toward the Ngorongoro Crater, keeping an eye out for the Big Five—lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard—along the way.
This UNESCO World Heritage Site, formed millions of years ago, is a staggering 600 meters deep and spans roughly 260 square kilometers. Home to around 25,000 animals, it offers some of the best game viewing in all of Tanzania. We’ll arrive at the crater rim in time for lunch, then descend into the crater for an unforgettable afternoon of wildlife spotting. Expect to see wildebeests, zebras, gazelles, elephants, and over 500 bird species. With luck, you may even glimpse the rare black rhino amid the tall grasses.
