Day 1

Arusha – Lake Manyara National Park

After an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Arusha, drive to Lake Manyara National Park. Enjoy game drives through groundwater forest, open plains, and along the alkaline lake, with chances to see elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, hippos, flamingos, and tree-climbing lions. A picnic lunch will be served inside the park. In the late afternoon, continue to Karatu for dinner and overnight at Marera Valley Lodge.

Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

After breakfast, drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the crater for a full morning of game viewing. Spot lions, zebras, wildebeest, hyenas, hippos, elephants, and if lucky, the black rhino. Enjoy a picnic lunch near the hippo pool before ascending the crater rim. In the late afternoon, return to Arusha for hotel drop-off, marking the end of your safari.
