Your 5-Day Nkambeni Tented Camp Safari departs daily from Johannesburg OR Tambo Airport. You need to be at the OR Tambo bus terminal by 6:45 AM, with departure promptly at 7:00 AM.
Once you have booked your Safari, we will send through the full instructions for a smooth start.
You will travel East, enjoying scenic views of rolling farmlands and beautiful landscapes en route to the Nkambeni Safari Camp inside a private concession within the Kruger National Park. We will be making one or two comfortable spots along the way, perfect time to stretch your legs and buy snacks or refreshments before journeying forward. Your arrival in Hazyview is around 1 PM, whereafter you will be transferred to the Safari Camp inside the park. Once you arrive, check in and take some time to relax. At 3 PM, hop onto an open-sided land cruiser for a thrilling 2.5-hour guided game drive. After your drive, enjoy a sundowner at the bar. End your day with a buffet dinner. Night at Camp.

Start your morning with a warm cup of coffee or tea with rusks before setting out on a full-day game drive in the Skukuza area of Kruger National Park. A packed breakfast is included for your convenience. The game drives take place in specially modified, 9-seater, open-sided land cruisers designed for optimal wildlife viewing and photography. The Skukuza area is abundant in wildlife, and the elevated position of the 4x4 open-sided vehicle provides excellent vantage points. After our sunrise game drive, we will pause for breakfast. You can also purchase additional food items at the shop in Kruger Park. After breakfast, the game drive continues until lunchtime. Lunch will be enjoyed at one of the park’s restaurants at your own expense. After a short lunch break, we embark on an afternoon safari, further exploring the Kruger's diverse wildlife. Throughout the day, you will see a wide variety of wildlife. Return to camp to unwind. Enjoy dinner and a traditional braai at the Nkambeni Boma.

Day 3
Panorama Route
Panorama Route
Today you depart on your adventure on the Panorama Route, revealing one breathtaking view after another. After a delicious breakfast to fuel your day, get ready for an eight-hour journey through some of South Africa's most incredible landscapes.
Various scenic stops will be made along the route. First, you will step into a view that stretches on forever at God's Window. You will then get to explore other epic sights like The Pinnacle and the unique rock formations at Bourke's Luck Potholes. Prepare to be completely captivated by the majestic Blyde River Canyon, with its towering cliffs and the stunning Three Rondavels.
Lunch will be available for you to buy along the route at your own expense.
After a day of scenery, return to the camp for a buffet dinner or a traditional bush barbecue around the log fire in the Boma followed by an overnight stay in your Tented Suite.

Kick off your day with a hot cup of coffee or tea and a quick bite before heading out on another full-day safari. You will climb aboard a specially modified, 9-seater, open-sided land cruiser and dive deep into the world-famous Skukuza area of the Kruger National Park.
This safari journey is all about finding the Kruger National Park's amazing wildlife, from the famous Big Five to countless other animals. The elevated position of the 4x4 open-sided vehicle provides excellent vantage points and great photography opportunities. After our sunrise game drive, we will pause for breakfast. In addition to the packed breakfast provided, you can also purchase additional food items at the shop in Kruger Park.
After a day packed with thrilling sightings and great photo opportunities, you will return to your chalet where you can unwind before enjoying a delicious dinner. Enjoy a lovely dinner followed by a night in your suite.

On the final morning of your 5-Day Nkambeni Tented Camp Safari, you will have the option to join another early morning sunrise game drive or enjoy a leisurely morning relaxing at Nkambeni. Please note, this sunrise game drive is optional and at your own expense. Nkambeni offers a large swimming pool and leisure area overlooking a water hole frequented by hippo and other wildlife, ideal for a relaxing morning. Just before 12 PM, Nkambeni will arrange your transfer to the shuttle pickup point in Hazyview.
From there, you will travel back to Johannesburg with comfort stops along the way. The estimated arrival time at OR Tambo Airport is between 5:30 PM and 6:00 PM. This marks the conclusion of your affordable and unforgettable Nkambeni Tented Camp Safari experience with Big Bull Safaris.
