Upon arrival at Abeid Amani Karume International Airport, you will be met by your private driver and transferred to your hotel in the heart of Stone Town. Spend the afternoon at leisure, exploring narrow alleys, carved wooden doors, and bustling streets rich in Swahili culture. In the evening, visit Forodhani Gardens to sample authentic local cuisine.

After breakfast, enjoy a guided walking tour of Stone Town, visiting historic highlights such as the House of Wonders, Old Fort, and former Sultan’s Palace, while learning about Zanzibar’s Arab, African, and European influences. Later, take a boat excursion to Prison Island, home to giant Aldabra tortoises and historic ruins. Optional swimming or snorkeling is available before returning to Stone Town in the late afternoon.

After an early breakfast, depart for a full-day game drive through vast savannahs, woodlands, and riverine habitats. Look out for lions, giraffes, buffaloes, wildebeest, large elephant herds, and the rare African wild dog. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush before continuing exploration. Return to camp in the late afternoon for sundowners and dinner.
