At your arrival at Kigali Airport, you will be met by Attractive Safaris’s representative at the Kigali international airport. He will be waiting for you in the arrivals hall with a sign marked “Attractive Safaris.” After greetings, you will be transferred to your accommodation.

Day 2
Transfer to Volcano National Park
Transfer to Volcano National Park
After breakfast, visit the Kigali Genocide Memorial dedicated to Unesco heritage in 2023, will take you back to the barbarity of the 1994 genocide against the Tutsis, which decimated the country and left around a million dead.
Then, drive to Volcanoes National Park, home to mountain gorillas.
On the way, discover the attractive and luxuriant nature through the landscapes of a thousand hills.
Transfer time: 3.5 hours.
Lunch in the touristic town of Musanze (Ruhengeri).
Afternoon: Guided hike along the twin lakes Burera and Ruhondo.

Day 3

You'll meet early in the morning at the National Park office for a briefing. With the help of an appointed guide and trackers, in groups of no more than 8 people, you'll set off in search of mountain gorillas. Tracking them can take anywhere from 2 to 6 hours. Once the group of gorillas has been located and approached with the help of the trackers, you will be able to observe them for one hour, no more, from a distance of no more than 5 meters, so as not to disturb them. Good-natured and peaceful, the gorillas seem completely indifferent to your presence and go about their business, playing, rolling around, grooming each other, sleeping... and feeding in their plant-filled world. Sometimes they come very close to you, even touching you...
Hiking time: 2 to 6 hours.
After lunch at your hotel, you will visit the “Iby'Iwacu” village for an inspiring experience of Rwandan culture, customs, and traditions.

In the morning, drive to Gisenyi. En route, enjoy panoramic views of the volcanoes, including Karisimbi, the highest peak (4,507 m), and Nyiragongo in the DRC (still active).
Stop along the way to visit a tea plantation covering several hectares. Farmers offer tea cultivation experiences, from sowing to delivering tea leaves to the factory, including a hands-on experience of collecting tea leaves with workers and an experience of tea processing at the Pfunda factory.
Lunch in the town of Gisenyi.
Afternoon: Relax on the beach and/or explore the seaside town of Gisenyi and visit the border with the Democratic Republic of Congo (Goma).

After breakfast, go and admire the crystal clear waters of Lake Kivu, discover the beauty of the small bay and the surrounding islands by boat: Amahoro Island, Napoleon Island, Monkey Island, etc.
- Afternoon: transfer to Nyungwe via Nyamasheke. Along the way, admire the rich biodiversity, and spectacular beauty of the Nyungwe rainforest, one of the oldest tropical forests in Africa.

Morning: Early in the morning, meet at the park office for a briefing and assignment of a professional guide to accompany you on your chimpanzee tour. The search for chimpanzees may take a few hours or several hours before you find a group, but you will likely see many other groups of monkeys along the way, such as Angolan colobus monkeys or blue monkeys.
Lunch at the Uwinka Reception Center.
After lunch canopy walk adventure (with Zipline as optional: +$100/person). The canopy walkway offers an exhilarating perspective of treetops and wildlife.
Then return to Kigali.

Today, around 9:00 AM, your professional driver guide will pick you up at your hotel to proceed to Akagera National Park (around 3 hours of transfer).

Upon arrival, you will check in at Akagera Game Lodge, and then relax by the pool. Afterward, go on a sunset boat trip from 4:30 to 6:00 pm on Lake Ihema to discover the aquatic wildlife (hippos, crocodiles, birds...).

Spotting the Big Five and other wild animals
After an early morning breakfast at 7:00am your professional driver guide will take you for a full day wildlife game drive (around 7 hours) in Akagera National Park from south to north for variety animals discovering: Big 5 (lion, leopard, rhino, elephant and buffalo), giraffes, zebras, antelopes, impalas, secret oribas and bushbous, as well as ungainly tsessebe and the largest antelope in the world, Cepeeland statuesque…)
The park also boasts almost 500 species of birds including the spectacular shoebill with its implausibly massive bill and the near-endemic red-faced barbet.

Thereafter driver back to Kigali.
