Tarangire National Park - Sleep inside Tarangire Park

After breakfast, depart for Tarangire National Park, a scenic drive of approximately two and a half hours along well-maintained tarmac roads. The park is named after the Tarangire River, often referred to as the “river of warthogs,” which serves as the primary water source for wildlife during the dry season.

Tarangire is especially famous for its large elephant families, frequently seen gathering along the riverbanks. Other common wildlife includes giraffes, bushbuck, and hartebeest, which in turn attract predators such as lions and leopards. The park is also a birdwatcher’s paradise, with more breeding bird species recorded here than in any other area of Tanzania.

The landscape is dotted with ancient baobab trees, some believed to be over a thousand years old, adding to the park’s dramatic character. Lunch will be enjoyed at a picnic site within the park, followed by further game viewing.

In the late afternoon, drive to the accommodation which is located inside the park.

Ngorongoro Crater

Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for a full morning of wildlife viewing across the expansive crater floor.

Covering approximately 100 square miles, the crater floor is dotted with permanent water sources and supports an estimated 30,000 animals, naturally enclosed by the steep volcanic walls. This unique ecosystem offers excellent opportunities to spot the Big Five—lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard—alongside many other species.

The Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest intact and unbroken caldera, with walls rising about 610 meters above the floor. Thanks to year-round grass and water, wildlife viewing is exceptional in all seasons. Enjoy a picnic lunch near the famous hippo pool before continuing your game drive.

In the afternoon, ascend the crater rim and transfer to your lodge in the Central Serengeti area, arriving in time for sunset, dinner, and an overnight stay.

Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, set out for an exhilarating full-day game drive in Serengeti National Park, exploring one of Africa’s most celebrated wildlife destinations.

The Serengeti’s beauty lies in its endless horizons—vast grasslands stretching as far as the eye can see, interspersed with seasonal plains, woodlands, and shrub savannah. Being surrounded by immense herds of wildebeest, zebras, and gazelles is a truly unforgettable experience. During the annual migration, these animals traverse the plains and cross crocodile-filled rivers, closely followed by ever-present predators.

After enjoying a picnic lunch on the open plains, continue your afternoon game drive, discovering more of the Serengeti’s rich wildlife. As the sun sets over the savannah, return to camp to relax and unwind beside the warmth of a crackling bushfire.
