Day 1

After breakfast, your professional driver-guide will pick you up from your hotel in Arusha and begin your safari adventure toward Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most scenic parks and a true hidden gem of the northern circuit.

Tarangire is especially famous for its:

Large elephant herds

Iconic giant baobab trees

Beautiful savannah landscapes

Excellent predator sightings, including lions and leopards

Upon arrival, enjoy an exciting game drive through the park where you may spot zebras, wildebeest, giraffes, buffalo, and numerous bird species. You will stop for a picnic lunch inside the park, surrounded by nature.

In the late afternoon, you will depart Tarangire and drive to Karatu for dinner and relaxation at your lodge.

Day 2

After an early breakfast, depart Karatu and begin the journey towards the world-famous Serengeti National Park. The drive itself is part of the experience, taking you through the stunning landscapes of the Ngorongoro Highlands and the vast plains that lead into Serengeti.

You will enjoy beautiful views and, depending on the route, you may see Maasai villages, cattle herds, and changing scenery from green highlands to open savannah.

Arrive in the Serengeti in the afternoon and enjoy your first game drive in the wildlife-rich Central Serengeti (Seronera region)—an area well known for year-round wildlife, big cat sightings, and excellent chances of seeing lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, and large herds of grazers.

After the game drive, continue to your camp for dinner under the African sky.

Today is dedicated to a full day of game viewing in the Serengeti—Africa’s most iconic safari destination. After breakfast, depart with your guide for an unforgettable safari experience across the endless plains.

With a full-day game drive, you have the best opportunity to explore deeper into the park and track wildlife activity throughout the day. Your guide will tailor the route depending on animal movements, weather conditions, and seasonal highlights.

During the day, you may encounter:

Start your morning with an early breakfast, then enjoy a final Serengeti game drive as you exit the park. The morning hours offer a great chance to see predators finishing their hunts or animals active in the cooler temperatures.

After the morning safari, begin your journey toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, passing through scenic landscapes and the famous crater highlands. You will stop for lunch along the way and continue to Karatu in the afternoon.

After an early breakfast, depart for the highlight of the tour: the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most incredible wildlife destinations in Africa.

You will descend approximately 600 meters into the crater floor for a breathtaking game drive. Ngorongoro is often called a natural zoo because of its high concentration of wildlife in a relatively small area.

On the crater floor you have excellent chances to spot:

Lions and hyenas

Buffalo and wildebeest

Elephants and hippos

Zebra herds and gazelles

And with luck, the rare black rhino

Enjoy a picnic lunch near the hippo pool, then continue the game drive before ascending out of the crater in the afternoon and returning to Karatu.
