Eastern or western Serengeti safari

On the fourth day of the safari, guests can choose to explore either the Eastern or Western Serengeti, depending on the season and wildlife movements. In the Eastern Serengeti, visitors experience vast short-grass plains and rocky kopjes, especially rewarding from January to March during the calving season, when large herds of wildebeest attract lions, cheetahs, and other predators, creating excellent game viewing and photography opportunities. Alternatively, the Western Serengeti offers a quieter, more exclusive atmosphere, highlighted by the Grumeti River, where dramatic wildebeest crossings usually occur between May and July, alongside sightings of giant crocodiles, hippos, and resident predators within scenic riverine forests and rolling plains.

Day 5

Exploring Ngorongoro

Exploring Ngorongoro

The world-renowned Ngorongoro Crater is one of Africa’s greatest natural wonders, formed over two million years ago after a massive volcanic eruption caused the volcano to collapse in on itself. The result is a vast, intact caldera with rich volcanic soils that support lush grasslands, swamps, forests, and a permanent water supply. This unique environment sustains an extraordinary density of wildlife, allowing visitors to encounter large populations of lions, zebras, buffaloes, wildebeest, flamingos, and the rare black rhino within a relatively small area. With its breath taking scenery and year-round game viewing, the crater offers one of the most rewarding safari experiences in Africa.

Main Destination:
Ngorongoro Crater
Best Time To Visit June to October (Wildlife viewing is best)
High Season Most of the year – July to March (Expect crowds)
