You have the option of enjoying morning and afternoon game drives, with all meals provided at your lodge, or departing with a picnic lunch for a full day game drive. After breakfast, you will set off across the sweeping plains to Masai Mara Game Reserve, a world-renowned safari destination. The Mara’s rolling landscapes are home to hundreds of plains game as well as the predators that hunt them. This 1,510 km² reserve is famous for the Big Five lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino and you may also encounter wildebeest, warthogs, hyenas, jackals, wild dogs, various antelopes, giraffes, hippos, and the formidable crocodiles along the Mara River.
