Day 2
Arusha to Tarangire National Park
Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After breakfast, you will be collected from your accommodation in Arusha by your dedicated safari guide and begin the journey to Tarangire National Park. The drive follows a smooth tarmac road, passing through open Maasai landscapes dotted with acacia trees. Along the way, you may see Maasai communities going about their daily life, herding livestock, cycling along the road, or traveling by donkey carts in their traditional attire.
Tarangire National Park is famous for its impressive elephant population and rich wildlife diversity. Enjoy a game drive in a custom-designed safari vehicle with a pop-up roof, offering excellent views of the park’s savanna, seasonal wetlands, and the Tarangire River, which attracts animals throughout the year. Wildlife sightings may include elephants, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, and wildebeest, with chances to spot predators such as lions or elusive leopards resting in the trees.

Day 3
Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will drive up into the cooler regions of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. There will be a chance to stop and see the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater. You will then transit through Ngorongoro Conservation Area to the Serengeti, entering the south of the park.
The Serengeti National Park is truly spectacular! It is famous for its vast open grasslands, allowing excellent wildlife sightings. While it boasts abundant wildlife, it is perhaps best known for its incredible annual migration. Depending on the time of year you come, you will witness one of the seven wonders of the natural world when vast numbers of wildebeest, zebra, and antelope move through the area in search of water and fresh grass.
You will have a picnic lunch and overnight at a luxury tented camp in Central Serengeti.

Day 4

This entire day is set aside for game drives in the Serengeti. The Serengeti boasts an abundance of wildlife, such as impala, buffalo, crocodile, and hippo. In addition to the iconic landscapes, you have a good chance of encountering predators such as lions, cheetahs, and leopards. It is a truly life-changing experience!
Today, it is possible to do early morning and late afternoon game drives, returning to the camp for lunch. Otherwise, a full day's game drive with a picnic lunch in the park.

Day 5
Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater
Serengeti National Park to Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast, you will wind your way toward Ngorongoro Crater, enjoying more wonderful sights on the way! After an entire afternoon inside the crater, you will drive to your accommodation in Karatu.
Steep volcanic walls conceal Ngorongoro Crater, a pristine wilderness with sweeping savannah, acacia woodland pockets, glistening lakes, and swamps. The crater was created when a large volcano exploded and collapsed in on itself two to three million years ago. The drive down into the crater is an adventure in itself, and when you reach the crater floor, you will quickly find yourself amongst large numbers of wildebeest, zebra, gazelle, and more than 500 bird species. The crater provides you with the best chance of seeing the endangered black rhino, which can sometimes be spotted in the open grasslands.

Day 6
Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha
Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha
After breakfast, we'll drive to our final destination on this epic safari—Lake Manyara National Park. This, a relatively small but diverse park, 120km west of Arusha. It is so named for the shallow salt lake that covers some seventy percent of the surface area, flooding and drying with the seasons. It is home to thousands of flamingo and in the extraordinary region of 500 other bird species. On our exploration of the park we will see monkey, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, buffalo, elephant, and with some luck, lions lounging in the trees. The park is known for its diverse landscapes; not only open grassy plains but also primate-filled woodlands and baobab dotted cliffs. After lunch, we'll head back to Arusha where we will arrive late in the afternoon our adventure at its inevitable end. You'll have all the sights and sounds of wild East Africa tucked away in your mind for your adventure in life’s journey.
