Airport Transfer & Welcome Briefing

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, proceed through customs and meet your driver-guide holding a sign with your name. Transfer to Arusha for check-in and relaxation at your lodge. If time allows, enjoy a short orientation in town or simply unwind for the safari starting the next morning.

Tarangire Highlights

After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park (approx. 2.5 hours). Tarangire is especially rewarding in the dry season when wildlife gathers along the Tarangire River. Expect large herds of elephants, plus zebra, wildebeest, eland, giraffe, buffalo, and rich birdlife among the park’s famous baobab trees. Picnic lunch inside the park, then continue game viewing until late afternoon. Drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Sunrise to Sunset Game Drives

Today is dedicated to a full-day safari in the Serengeti—one of the world’s greatest wildlife sanctuaries and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. With picnic lunch boxes, explore different ecosystems and search for lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, buffalo, and vast herds of plains game. In the late afternoon, return to your camp for dinner and overnight under the African sky.

Serengeti Ngorongoro Crater Karatu

After breakfast, drive toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a game drive. This is one of Tanzania’s best places to see the black rhino and large lion prides, along with buffalo, elephant, hippos, hyenas, and abundant birdlife including flamingos. Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor before ascending and driving to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Mto wa Mbu Local Life and Airport Drop-Off

After breakfast, drive to Mto wa Mbu for a short cultural experience. Depending on timing, you may visit local farms, small workshops, and a Maasai Boma to learn about Maasai traditions and daily life. After the visit, continue to Arusha and transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport (or Arusha Airport) for departure.
