Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, proceed through customs and meet your driver-guide holding a sign with your name. Transfer to Arusha for check-in and relaxation at your lodge. Tarangire Highlights

After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park (approx. 2.5 hours). Tarangire is especially rewarding in the dry season when wildlife gathers along the Tarangire River. Expect large herds of elephants, plus zebra, wildebeest, eland, giraffe, buffalo, and rich birdlife among the park’s famous baobab trees. Picnic lunch inside the park, then continue game viewing until late afternoon. Drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Enjoy a picnic lunch on the crater floor before ascending and driving to Karatu for dinner and overnight.
