Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be met by your professional driver-guide from Safari 62 Limited. After a short meet-and-greet, you will be transferred to your hotel near Entebbe. This day is intentionally relaxed to allow you to recover from your international flight. Day 2

After breakfast, you begin the journey north toward Murchison Falls National Park. The drive passes through central Uganda, rural towns, and scenic countryside, with planned stops for rest and lunch along the way. Upon arrival in the park, you check in to your lodge and enjoy time to relax before dinner. This long but rewarding travel day introduces you to Uganda’s changing landscapes.

The day starts with an early morning game drive on the northern bank of the Nile, when wildlife is most active. With your guide, you search for elephants, giraffes, lions, buffalo, antelope, and a variety of bird species. After breakfast and rest at the lodge, you enjoy an afternoon boat safari on the Nile to the base of Murchison Falls, offering close views of hippos, crocodiles, and animals along the riverbanks.

After breakfast, depart Murchison Falls and drive south toward Kibale Forest National Park. This scenic journey passes through farmland, tea plantations, and small towns, offering insight into daily life in rural Uganda. Lunch is taken en route. Arrival near Kibale Forest is in the late afternoon, followed by check-in and time to relax at the lodge.

Day 9

Gorilla Trekking Experience

Gorilla Trekking Experience

This is the highlight of the safari. After an early breakfast, transfer to the park headquarters for registration and briefing by Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers. You are assigned a gorilla family and begin the trek through the forest, which may take 2–6 hours depending on gorilla location. Once found, you spend up to one hour observing the gorillas before returning to the lodge for rest and reflection.
