You will have the whole day for an extensive game drive, with a chance to encounter the “Big Five” and big cats. The Great Wildebeest Migration in Serengeti National Park is considered one of the natural wonders of the world and is one of the most spectacular and magnificent events in Tanzania. It is a truly awe-inspiring spectacle of life in an expansive ecosystem, governed mostly by rainfall and the struggle for survival among the herbivores of the Serengeti plains. You will have a once-in-a-lifetime experience over two full days, witnessing more than two million wildebeest on the move. Depending on the timing of your safari, you may see the wildebeest crossing either the Grumeti River in the Western Serengeti (June to mid-July) or the Mara River (mid-July to September), providing crocodiles and other carnivores with hunting opportunities.

You will finish your safari with a full game drive in the greater wilderness of the Central Serengeti, spending the day encountering the “Big Five” and big cats. The Serengeti is home to lions, leopards, elephants, cheetahs, buffaloes, wild dogs, gazelles, crocodiles, abundant birdlife, and many more species. In the afternoon, you will drive across Ngorongoro for drop-off at Karatu.
