Day 2

Arusha – Tarangire National Park – Karatu

Arusha – Tarangire National Park – Karatu

After breakfast, depart Arusha for Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most scenic and wildlife-rich parks. Enjoy a full-day game drive through open savannah, seasonal swamps, and the Tarangire River, which attracts large concentrations of animals. Tarangire is famous for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and excellent birdlife. You may spot lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, buffalo, and many antelope species. Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the park before continuing to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast, depart Karatu and drive through the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, taking in the breathtaking views of the crater highlands and surrounding landscapes. Along the way, you will pass traditional Maasai villages and small farms, offering a glimpse of local life in northern Tanzania. Continue your journey toward Serengeti National Park, arriving in time for lunch at your tented camp. In the afternoon, embark an exciting game drive across the vast Serengeti plains, one of Africa’s most iconic wildlife areas. The park is home to large populations of lions, cheetahs, leopards, elephants, giraffes, zebras, and wildebeest, providing excellent opportunities for wildlife viewing and photography. Day 6

Serengeti – Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

After an early breakfast, enjoy a final morning game drive in Serengeti before driving to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend 600 meters into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive on the crater floor, home to one of the highest concentrations of wildlife in Africa. Spot lions, elephants, buffalo, hippos, hyenas, flamingos, and the rare black rhino. After a picnic lunch inside the crater, ascend the crater rim and drive back to Arusha for overnight.
