After an early breakfast, you’ll head to Tarangire National Park with a packed lunch for a full-day game drive. Famous for its massive elephant herds and rich birdlife, Tarangire also offers sightings of big cats and rare species like kudu, oryx, and gerenuk. During the dry season, the Tarangire River draws large numbers of wildlife, including zebras, wildebeests, and gazelles. After the game drive, you’ll head to Heart & Soul Lodge, set in lush gardens, for a relaxing evening, delicious dinner, and overnight stay.

After breakfast, a drive to the place the Maasai call Siringit, where the land moves on forever.’ Tanzania’s first game reserve, the Serengeti National Park, is one of the last remaining natural migration corridors and one of the oldest ecosystems on earth. Its climate, vegetation, and fauna have remained mostly unchanged over the past million years. The instinct that drives the annual Great Migration of more than a million wildebeest, gazelle, and zebra is so powerful that neither drought nor crocodile-infested rivers can halt it.

After an early breakfast, you depart the Serengeti and travel to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, descending into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for an unforgettable game drive. A UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s most wildlife-dense regions, the crater is home to over 30,000 animals, including the rare black rhino, supported by permanent water sources and rich grazing lands. During your drive, you’ll encounter large herds of wildebeest, zebras, buffalo, elephants, hippos, and warthogs, along with predators such as lions, hyenas, cheetahs, jackals, and possibly leopards. A scenic picnic lunch on the crater floor allows you to relax and absorb the remarkable beauty and diversity of this natural wonder before continuing your exploration.

Enjoy an immersive cultural experience with the Hadzabe, learning about their hunting skills, traditional tools, and daily lifestyle, followed by a visit to the Datoga community to observe their age-old metalworking techniques. At midday, explore the unique Lake Eyasi landscape while engaging with local communities, then later drive to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

Upon arriving at Materuni Village, you are warmly welcomed by the hospitable Chaga community before setting out on a guided walk through lush coffee and banana plantations to the stunning 80-meter Materuni Waterfalls, where you can relax, take photos, and cool off in the natural pool. The experience continues with a rich cultural immersion, including a hands-on coffee tour from bean to cup, tasting traditional banana beer, enjoying a freshly prepared Chaga lunch, and exploring historic Chaga caves filled with local stories and traditions. You will also visit a viewpoint offering beautiful views of Mount Kilimanjaro, known as the Roof of Africa, before transferring to Kilimanjaro International Airport. This marks the end of your 7-day Tanzania safari, with the option to extend your journey to Tanzania’s tropical islands such as Zanzibar, Pemba, or Mafia.
