Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or pick-up from your Nairobi hotel, you will be warmly received by our safari team and transferred to our office for a short safari briefing and final arrangements. Here, you will meet fellow travelers joining this luxury group safari. After introductions, the journey begins towards the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve, traveling through the scenic Great Rift Valley with scheduled stops along the way. Arrival at the camp is in time for lunch and relaxation before heading out for an afternoon game drive. This first safari experience introduces you to the vast savannahs of the Mara, home to lions, elephants, giraffes, and an abundance of plains game. Dinner and overnight are at your luxury accommodation within the reserve.

This full day is dedicated to exploring the Maasai Mara in depth. After breakfast, you will enjoy an extensive game drive across the rolling grasslands and riverine forests, guided by experienced driver-guides who track wildlife movements and share insights about the ecosystem. A picnic lunch is enjoyed within the reserve, allowing more time immersed in nature. The afternoon continues with further wildlife viewing, offering excellent opportunities to spot predators and large herds in their natural habitat. As the sun sets over the Mara, you return to the camp for dinner and a relaxed evening under the African skies.

After breakfast, you will visit a traditional Maasai village for a cultural experience, learning about the customs, lifestyle, and traditions of the Maasai people. Following the visit, the safari continues towards Lake Nakuru National Park. Lunch and a scenic game drive are enjoyed en route, making the journey both engaging and rewarding. Arrival at the lodge will be in the late afternoon or early evening, allowing time to check in and unwind. Due to the late arrival, there will be no game drive within Lake Nakuru National Park on this day. Dinner and overnight will be at your luxury lodge near the park.
