Game in Drive Sothern Serengeti National Park (Ndutu Plain)

Begin your day with an early breakfast before setting out on a thrilling wildlife game drive in the Southern Serengeti (Ndutu area) to witness the spectacular wildebeest calving season. After an immersive day tracking the herds, a packed lunch will be served at a scenic picnic spot within the park.

The Ndutu calving season, a pinnacle of the Great Wildebeest Migration, typically takes place from late January to March. During this period, over 400,000 wildebeest calves are born, drawn to the lush, nutrient-rich grasses that flourish after the short rains. The Southern Serengeti and Ndutu transform into a vibrant nursery, where newborns are safeguarded—and hunted—amid the presence of predators such as lions, cheetahs, and hyenas.

As the day draws to a close, you’ll return to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.
