Upon arrival at JRO or ARK, you will be met by your Eternity Africa Limited driver-guide. After a warm welcome and luggage assistance, you’ll transfer to Arusha for check-in and rest. If time allows, you may enjoy a short optional town visit. In the evening, your guide will provide a safari briefing to prepare you for the adventure ahead.

Day 2

Tarangire Elephant Plains Safari

After breakfast, depart Arusha for Tarangire National Park (approx. 2.5–3 hours). Enjoy a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch inside the park. Tarangire is famous for its large elephant herds, giant baobab trees, and strong wildlife activity along the Tarangire River. You may see lions, leopards, giraffes, zebra, wildebeest, buffalo, and a wide variety of birds. In the late afternoon, drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

This UNESCO World Heritage Site holds an incredible concentration of wildlife including lions, elephants, buffalo, hippos, hyenas, zebra, wildebeest, and—if lucky—the rare black rhino. After the crater tour, ascend and drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

Enjoy lunch with scenic Rift Valley views, then return to Karatu for dinner and overnight.

This volcanic crater lake is surrounded by forest and excellent birdlife—look out for fish eagles, kingfishers, herons, and cormorants, plus blue monkeys in the trees. After the activity, transfer to Arusha town or to JRO/ARK for departure.
