After breakfast, drive to Tarangire National Park through Maasai plains dotted with acacia trees. Enjoy a full-day game drive in one of Tanzania’s most underrated wildlife gems—famous for large elephant herds, giant baobab trees, and strong predator presence. Expect zebra, wildebeest, buffalo, giraffe, and plenty of birdlife, with chances for lions and leopards depending on the day. Picnic lunch inside the park. On arrival, begin game viewing in the Ndutu region—an area of open plains, acacia woodlands, and seasonal lakes that attract wildlife year-round. During migration months, the plains often fill with wildebeest and zebra herds.

Return to camp in the late afternoon for dinner and overnight.

Look out for baboons, blue monkeys, elephants, giraffes, buffalo, and (with luck) the park’s famous tree-climbing lions. After lunch, transfer to Arusha, JRO, or ARK for your onward journey.
