Nairobi - Masai Mara National Reserve

Upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, you will be met by our representative and immediately transferred by road to the Masai Mara National Reserve via the scenic Great Rift Valley. En route, you will stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint to enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of the valley floor and surrounding escarpments before continuing the journey. You will arrive in the Masai Mara around lunchtime, check in at your lodge or tented camp, and enjoy lunch followed by time to relax after the drive. In the afternoon, you will proceed for an afternoon and evening game drive across the open savannah, where you may encounter elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, antelopes, and a variety of bird species. After the game drive, you will return to your lodge or camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Full Day in Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, you will head out for a morning game drive in the Masai Mara, one of Africa’s most famous wildlife reserves, known for its vast open plains and high concentration of animals. The reserve is home to the Big Five as well as cheetahs, hyenas, hippos, crocodiles, and abundant plains game. Depending on the season, you may witness the Great Wildebeest Migration, when large herds of wildebeests and zebras move across the plains and cross the Mara River in search of fresh grazing. You may enjoy a picnic lunch within the reserve or return to the lodge for lunch before continuing with an afternoon game drive. The Masai Mara also offers excellent birdlife viewing, including species such as secretary birds, eagles, vultures, hornbills, and the colorful lilac-breasted roller. Dinner and overnight at your lodge or camp.

Following breakfast, you will enjoy another full day of game viewing in the Masai Mara, exploring different areas of the reserve and increasing your chances of seeing predators, large herds of herbivores, and diverse birdlife. An optional early morning hot air balloon safari is available at an additional cost, offering breathtaking sunrise views over the savannah followed by a bush breakfast. Later in the day, an optional visit to a traditional Maasai village can be arranged, providing insight into the culture, customs, and daily life of the Maasai people. You will continue with morning and afternoon game drives, returning to your lodge or camp in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.

Masai Mara National Reserve - Diani Beach

After breakfast, you will check out from your lodge or camp and depart the Masai Mara by road to Nairobi. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your scheduled flight to Diani Beach. On arrival at Diani Airport, you will be met and transferred to your beach resort, where you will check in and spend the remainder of the day at leisure. Dinner and overnight at the beach resort.

Following breakfast, you may choose to relax at the resort or participate in other optional excursions at an additional cost. After your chosen activities, you will return to the resort for dinner and an overnight stay.
