Arusha to Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, depart from Arusha and drive toward Serengeti National Park, passing through scenic landscapes and rural villages. Upon entering the Serengeti, begin your first game drive and enjoy your first wildlife sightings, including zebras, giraffes, elephants, and possibly predators such as lions and cheetahs. In the evening, check in at your lodge or camp for dinner and overnight in the Serengeti.

Serengeti National Park

Today is dedicated to exploring the Serengeti’s vast plains. You will enjoy a full-day game drive, moving between different areas of the park to maximize wildlife viewing. Look out for large herds of wildebeest and zebra, as well as resident predators such as lions, leopards, and cheetahs. A bush picnic lunch will be served in the park to allow more time for wildlife viewing. Return to your lodge or camp in the evening for dinner and overnight in the Serengeti.

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Crater then back to Arusha

After an early breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the world’s most unique wildlife habitats. Enjoy a game drive in the crater floor, where you may see elephants, lions, buffaloes, zebras, flamingos, and possibly the rare black rhino. After your crater experience and picnic lunch, ascend from the crater and drive back to Arusha for dinner and overnight.

Arusha – West Kilimanjaro (Maasai Cultural Experience)

After breakfast, transfer to West Kilimanjaro for an immersive Maasai cultural experience. Set against the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro, you will enjoy a guided nature walk with Maasai guides, learning about traditional herbs, plants, and wildlife tracking. Participate in spear throwing, visit a traditional Maasai boma, and explore a local market.

You will also visit a local primary school supported by the lodge, spend time with Maasai women’s groups learning about beadwork and daily life, and visit the local Maasai church. As the day ends, enjoy cultural storytelling around the fire, traditional Maasai songs and dances at sunset, and a memorable Maasai BBQ. Dinner and overnight at your lodge in West Kilimanjaro.
