Day 1

Nairobi to Masai Mara

Nairobi to Masai Mara

The guide will pick you up from your hotel after breakfast at around 6 am. The journey to the Masai Mara will commence, and at lunchtime, stop over in Narok town to freshen up before proceeding with the trip. You will check in for lunch at the lodge. After lunch, you immediately head to the reserve for a brief game drive. The Masai Mara is home to various animal species, including the Big Five, which you might get to see. In July, August and September, wildebeests migrate from the Serengeti to the Mara, which is a very entertaining view. You will visit the optional Masai village or choose to relax at the camp. If interested to join the first day game drive, no problem, you will top up the park entrance fee only. Later on, dinner and overnight stay at the camp.

Day 2

Masai Mara

After breakfast, you will be picked up from the camp at 6:45 am for the day’s game drive. The drive will take you through the reserve's landscape, which is savannah grassland on rolling hills. The Masai Mara National Reserve has extensive road networks that provide a platform for close viewing of wildlife. You will view different kinds of wildlife, vegetation and the beautiful landscape. You will then have a picnic lunch by the Masai Mara River and proceed with the game drive until sunset. Drive back to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 3

Masai Mara

Masai Mara

Another full day will be spent in the Masai Mara National Reserve searching for wildlife. If it is within the period of the great migration, you will have an en-route game drive to the Mara River, where the great migration takes place. If you're lucky, you will witness this historic crossing and then continue searching for other animals. Later on in the evening, drive back to the camp in time for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4

Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru

Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru

Breakfast will be served at the camp, you will later depart for Lake Nakuru National Park, with scenic views of Mount Longonot and Lake Naivasha, both off the highway. There is an optional boat ride on Lake Naivasha for $20 per person. Lunch is served en route, and upon arrival at Lake Nakuru, you will check in at the hotel, then have dinner and overnight.

Lake Nakuru to Naivasha

Immediately after breakfast, the guide will pick you up for a game drive at Lake Nakuru Park to interact with the pink flamingoes at the shores of the lake. The park has a white rhino sanctuary, and Cape buffalo and waterbuck can be seen along the lake's shoreline. A hot lunch will be served, after which you will move on to the Naivasha resort for check-in. Dinner will be served, and the night will be spent at the resort.

Hell's Gate to Amboseli

After breakfast, you will have a nature walk at Hell’s Gate National Park. You can ride bicycles (optional, at a fee of $10 per person) to enjoy cycling in this only walking park in our beautiful country, Kenya. The park is rich in bird species, including vultures, Verreaux’s eagles, augur buzzards, swifts, and many others. The park is also a wildlife haven, home to animals such as the African buffalo, zebra, eland, hartebeest, Thomson’s gazelle, baboons, and many others. Predominantly, Hell’s Gate National Park is home to the klipspringer antelope and the Chalmar’s mountain reedbuck. After this amazing adventure walk, you will have your lunch en route, then depart for Amboseli National Park in time for dinner and overnight at the camp.

After breakfast, you will be picked up from the camp at 8:45 am for the day’s game drive. The drive will take you through the swampy grounds where elephants and hippos bathe. Amboseli National Park has a well-developed road network that provides a platform for close viewing of wildlife. You will view different kinds of wildlife, such as antelopes and birds, vegetation and the beautiful scenery of Mount Kilimanjaro’s peak, if the weather conditions permit. You will have a picnic lunch, then be driven back to the camp in the evening, in time for dinner and an overnight stay.
