Nairobi to Masai mara

The guide will pick you up from your hotel after breakfast at around 6am. The journey to Masai Mara will commence and at lunch hour, stopover at Narok town for freshening up. You later proceed with the trip. You will check in for lunch at the lodge. After lunch you immediately head to the reserve for a brief game drive. Masai Mara is a home for different animal species which includes the big five, which you might get to view. In July, August and September, wildebeests migrate from Serengeti to the Mara, which is a very entertaining view. After the game drive, you will be transferred to the camp where dinner is served and night spent.

Day 2

After breakfast, you will be picked from the camp at 6:45am for the day’s game drive. The drive will take you through the landscape of the reserve which is savannah grassland on rolling hills. Masai Mara national reserve has good extensive road networks which provide a platform to closely view the wild animals. You will view different kinds of wildlife, vegetation and the beautiful landscape. You will then have a picnic lunch at the Masai Mara river and proceed with the game drive till sunset. Drive back to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 3

Another full day will be spent in the Masai Mara national reserve in search of animals. If it is within the period of the great migration, you will have an en route game drive to the Mara River where the great migration takes place. If lucky, you will witness this historical crossing, you will then proceed on to search for other animals. Later on in the evening, drive back to the camp in time for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 4

Breakfast will be served at the camp then proceed for an optional activity visit to Masai village. At the village you will have an opportunity to test the culture of the Masai people that has been preserved for years. At the village you will pay $10 per person paid directly to the village. After the village you head back to the camp where you will later depart for Lake Nakuru National Park, as you enjoy the scenic view of the great mt. Longonot and Lake Naivasha from the highway distance. There is an optional activity of boat ride in Lake Naivasha for a fee of $20 per person. Lunch is then served en route and upon arrival at Lake Nakuru you will check in at the hotel, then dinner and overnight.

Lake nakuru to Naivasha

Immediately after breakfast, the guide will pick you up for a game drive at lake Nakuru park to interact with the pink flamingoes at the shores of the lake. The park has got a white rhino sanctuary, cape buffallos and waterbacks at the shoreline of this lake. Hot lunch will be served during lunch hour, after which you then move on to the resort in Naivasha for check-in and dinner is served and night spent at the resort.

After breakfast you will then have a nature walk at Hell’s gate national park. You can pick bicycles which is optional (at a fee of 10 dollars per person) to enjoy cycling in this one and only walking park in our beautiful country, Kenya. The park is rich in that it inhabits a numerous number of different bird species of which some are vultures, verreaux’s eagles, augur buzzard, swifts and many others. The park is also wildlife heritaged with animals such as the african buffalo, the zebra, the eland, the hartebeest, thomson’s gazelle, baboons and many others. Predominantly, Hell’s gate national park is a home to the klipspringer antelope and the chanler’s mountain reedbuck. After this amazing adventure walk, you will have your lunch en route, then depart for Amboseli national park in time for dinner and overnight at the camp.

After breakfast, you will be picked from the camp at 8:45 am for the day’s game drive. The drive will take you through the swampy grounds where elephants and hippos bathe. Amboseli national park has good extensive road networks which provide a platform to closely view the wild animals. You will view different kinds of wildlife such as the antelopes and birds, vegetation and the beautiful scenery of mount Kilimanjaro’s peak, if the weather conditions permit. You will then have a picnic lunch, after which you will then be driven back to the camp later in the evening in time for dinner and overnight at the Camp.

Day 8

Amboseli to Nairobi
After breakfast at 6 am, you will proceed for the morning game drive from 6.30 am to around 8.45 am. Check out of Amboseli National Park and drive back to Nairobi arriving in the afternoon where you can either be dropped back to your Nairobi hotel or to the airport for your flight.
