Zebras graze across the plains, impalas leap gracefully, and warthogs scurry through the grasslands, all set against the backdrop of rolling hills and acacia woodlands. Day two begins with breakfast before setting out on a scenic transfer to Bwindi, a journey that builds anticipation as you draw closer to one of the world’s most extraordinary natural treasures. Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, draped in mist and alive with the calls of countless species, shelters more than half of the planet’s remaining mountain gorillas. Your destination is Buhoma, one of the park’s four renowned sectors, where the magic of gorilla trekking awaits. Upon arrival, you’ll settle into your lodge and enjoy lunch surrounded by the forest’s serene atmosphere. In the afternoon, a guided nature walk reveals the forest’s secrets towering trees, lush undergrowth, and a dazzling array of bird species, some found nowhere else on earth. The experience deepens as you visit the Buhoma community, where warm smiles and rich traditions offer a glimpse into local culture. As evening falls, you return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day three begins with breakfast before you set off on the most awe inspiring experience of your Bwindi journey gorilla tracking. After a briefing from the rangers, you’ll step into the misty depths of the forest, where towering trees, tangled vines, and the chorus of birds create an atmosphere of mystery and anticipation. The trek winds through dense vegetation, each step heightening the excitement as you draw closer to one of the rarest encounters on earth. When you finally come face to face with a gorilla family, the moment is breathtaking young ones tumbling playfully, mothers nurturing their infants, and the silverback watching over them with quiet authority. Spending an hour in their presence is a privilege that leaves a lasting impression, a connection to the wild that few ever experience. After the trek, you return to your lodge for lunch and a chance to rest, the afternoon free to reflect on the extraordinary encounter and soak in the tranquil beauty of Bwindi’s ancient forest.

Day 4

On the fourth day, you will leave Buhoma and drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, which is located in western Uganda. Queen Elizabeth National Park is known for its diverse wildlife and beautiful landscapes, including the Kazinga Channel, which connects Lake George and Lake Edward. Once you arrive in the park, you will check into your lodge and have a late lunch. In the afternoon, you will go on a game drive to explore the park and see various wildlife species such as elephants, lions, leopards, hyenas, and Buffalos.
After the game drive, you will enjoy a sunset boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, where you can spot hippos, crocodiles, and various bird species such as the African skimmer and the pied kingfisher.
You will return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5

Start at Trekkers at 1,450 meters and sleep at Sine Hut at 2,596 meters being a height gain of 1,146 meters. We start by walking up the valley floor through tall forest trees of the Afro Montane Forest Zone. This is a steady climb for the first six kilometres then after crossing a river it is a steep climb up to Sine Camp. The forest trees are tall with multitudes of birds and a chance of seeing blue monkeys scampering off through the forest. Enock’s Falls are just 200 meters from Sine Hut and offer a splendid opportunity to capture a great screensaver for your memories as brightly clouded green lichen grow on the many lives hanging from the trees with the waterfall as a background. At Sine Camp 2,596 metres we have wooden huts set between tall forest trees on a narrow ridge where you may sit and enjoy the beauty of the forest.

Day 6

From Sine Camp we start by climbing up through the bamboo forests which is quite steep but very beautiful and inspiring. As you climb through the upper part of the bamboo zone there is small patches of mixed forest trees many of which bear fruit and berries and attracts many different types of birds. You will hear the calls of the Rwenzori Turaco bird which has bright red or crimson wings and a magnificent sight as they fly between trees also during the drier season the female
Malicite Sunbird comes down the mountain to feed on nectar producing flowers before heading back to the high altitudes to mate and rear their young. At about 3,000 metres altitude you reach the Heather zone where the Giant Heather trees reach 15 metres in height and are truly magnificent. At 3,147 metres you find Kalalama Camp which is an alternative to sleeping at Sine camp which has excellent views.
After, you'll return to Kalalama Camp for lunch before crossing to Samalira Camp at 3,170 metres for the night.

Day 7

As the morning light filters through the towering bamboo, you descend into a world alive with color and sound mist curling across the valleys, birds calling from the canopy, and sweeping views that make every step feel cinematic. The trail leads you to Forest View Camp, perched perfectly for a pause where you can savor a hearty lunch or a quick snack while gazing out over the rolling hills below.
From there, the adventure deepens as you enter the Afro-Montane Forest Zone, a lush corridor alive with primates swinging through the branches and vibrant birdlife flashing across your path. The descent grows steeper, but at the bottom Nyamwamba Camp welcomes you with a chance to rest, recharge, and soak in the wild atmosphere.
The last 6 km to the park gate feel like a triumphant march each step carrying you closer to comfort. And when you arrive, Enshama Lodge & Campsite awaits like a reward a serene haven where relaxation flows easily, dinner is a celebration of the day’s journey.

Your final day begins with a relaxed morning at Enshama Lodge & Campsite, where you can enjoy the serenity of the surroundings before setting off. After breakfast, you’ll be transferred back to Kampala, a journey that winds through Uganda’s scenic countrysidepassing villages, rolling hills, and lush farmlands that offer a last glimpse of the landscapes you’ve explored.
As the road unfolds, it’s a time to reflect on the adventure: the bamboo forests, the Afro-Montane trails alive with birds and primates, and the rewarding descents that led you here. By late afternoon, you’ll arrive in Kampala, where the safari officially concludes, leaving you with unforgettable memories and stories to carry home.
