Welcome to Uganda. You will be received by a Likyadi Adventures guide upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport and you will transfer to the hotel in Kampala for relaxing and rest after your flight. Depending on your time of arrival, you will have lunch before transferring to the hotel. You will then check in at the hotel and relax preparing for the safari adventure that awaits you in Uganda. Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.

Day 2

After your early morning breakfast, you will be picked by a Likyadi Adventures guide and start your 4 to 5 hours journey to Murchison Falls National Park in Masindi in Western Uganda. You will have a first stop over at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary in Nakansongola where you will have an hour on-foot rhino trekking experience. After the rhino tracking experience you will have lunch before proceeding to visit the top of Murchison Falls the powerful falls where the Nile squeezes through an 8m wide gorge and plunges with a thunderous roar into the Devil’s Cauldron creating a trademark rainbow. From the falls you will continue in the park to check in the lodge.

Have your breakfast very early in the morning, depart for an early morning game drive as early as 6am and head into the park and look out for view the different mammals such as elephants, lions, leopards, Rothschild’s giraffes, buffaloes and antelopes like Uganda kob, Jackson hartebeest, oribis, bushbucks. You will have time to relax for lunch and after join the boat cruise to take you to the bottom of Murchison falls as you spot aquatic wildlife such as hippos, Nile crocodiles, and water birds. On return, Catch up with sunset view before dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 4

After your morning breakfast, you will check out of the hotel and start your journey to Kibale National Park in Kabarole district in Western Uganda through the tea plantations and rolling hills to reach Fort portal town. While in Fort portal you will have an en-route lunch and continue your journey to Kibale National Park. After checking into the lodge, you will embark on a guided nature walk in the Bigodi wetlands and you have a chance to spot 138 bird species.
You will visit the communities around Kibale National Park where you will learn how coffee is processed locally for consumption by the local coffee farmers. You will visit Rest in Bananas where you will see how the Banana man makes different products from bananas. After this experience, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5
Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale National Park

After your early morning breakfast, you head over to Kibale Forest Headquarters at Kanyanchu where you will be briefed on the dos and don’ts of chimpanzee trekking. With a ranger guide, you will venture into the jungle in search of the chimpanzees and while tracking, you will be able to spot other primate species like the Red Colobus, Black and white Colobus, Vervet monkeys, Red-tailed Monkey, and L’Hoest’s Monkey among others and bird species. You will spend one hour with the chimpanzees as you watch them play, feed and groom each other in the forest. After the chimpanzee tracking experience you will be awarded a chimpanzee trekking certificate and after you return to the lodge for lunch. After lunch you will relax at the lodge. Dinner and Overnight stay at the lodge.

After your early morning breakfast, you will checkout of the lodge in Kibale National Park and you will transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. You will arrive at the lodge in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in the afternoon where you will have lunch and there after you will check in.
In the evening, you will then embark on a Batwa community experience where you will visit the Batwa people and learn their different ways of living such as how they used to make fire, how they hunted for their food among others. After this experience you will return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
You will wake up early in the morning for breakfast and then report at the park headquarters at 7:30am for a briefing about the dos and don’ts while with the gorillas. Remember to carry your packed lunch and enough drinking water since you may stay in the forest up to afternoon in search of these gentle giants in their natural environment. Gorilla trekking exercise is physically demanding but an exciting activity! You may need to hire a porter to assist you during tracking and these are readily available at the park headquarters. Time allowed to spend with gorillas is 1 hour when you have found them and this is enough to ask all the questions about their behaviour. After the Gorilla Trekking Experience, you will be awarded a Gorilla Tracking Certificate. You will return to the lodge where you will freshen up and relax at the lodge. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

After breakfast depart from the lodge in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and head to Lake Mburo National Park, the smallest Savannah National park in Uganda. You will reach the park in the afternoon for lunch, and then go for a boat ride on Lake Mburo which will reward you with wildlife such as crocodiles, hippos, and lots of bird species. You will then have an evening game drive where you will encounter wildlife such as giraffes, zebras, impalas, elands, buffaloes, Waterbucks among others. After the evening game drive, you will return to the lodge for overnight stay and dinner.

After your morning breakfast, the game rangers will take you for a guided morning walking safari where you will come close to the animals such as zebras, Giraffes, Common Elands, impalas, waterbucks among others. After you will have a morning game drive as you exit the park and set off to Entebbe International Airport. Along the way you will have a stop at the Equator in Kayabwe for memorable photos and the famous water experiment that show that earth is separated into the Northern and Southern Hemisphere and you will have a chance to enjoy both the hemispheres. You will have an en-route lunch and you continue your journey to Entebbe International Airport.
