1-Day Trip to Materuni Waterfall & Hot Spring Experience

Enjoy a full-day adventure from Arusha to Materuni Village near Mount Kilimanjaro. On arrival, meet a local guide who will introduce you to the Chagga culture and lifestyle. Take a scenic 40-minute hike through lush tropical scenery to the impressive 80-meter Materuni Waterfall, where you can relax, take photos, or enjoy a refreshing swim. A packed lunch will be served in this beautiful setting.

After the hike, visit a traditional coffee farm to learn the full bean-to-cup process. Join in roasting and grinding the beans before enjoying a freshly brewed cup of coffee.

Later, travel to the tranquil Chemka Hot Springs to swim in clear, mineral-rich waters or unwind along the shore. For an additional cost, you may enjoy a barbecue, and you might spot baboons or monkeys in the surrounding trees. The tour ends with a comfortable drive back to your hotel in Arusha.
