Day 1
Nairobi – Lake Naivasha
Nairobi – Lake Naivasha
Depart Nairobi in the morning and drive through the Great Rift Valley to Lake Naivasha (about 2–3 hours). Arrive in time for lunch at your lodge.
In the afternoon, enjoy a boat safari on Lake Naivasha, home to hippos and rich birdlife. This is followed by a guided walk on Crescent Island, a small crescent-shaped island that forms part of an ancient volcanic crater rim that emerged from the lake floor. The island supports a significant population of wildlife, especially herbivores such as giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and antelope, and offers a rare opportunity to walk safely among animals.
