Victoria Falls Airport to Robins Camp- Arrival and First Safari Experience

Upon arrival at the lodge, guests are greeted with refreshing welcome drinks before settling into their comfortable safari accommodation. After a leisurely lunch and time to unwind, the adventure begins with their first afternoon game drive through the vast wilderness of Hwange. Accompanied by experienced guides, guests venture into the park in search of its incredible wildlife, with chances of encountering elephants, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, and predators such as lions or elusive leopards as they become active in the cooler hours of the day.

As the sun begins to set over the African bush, guests return to the lodge to freshen up before enjoying a delightful dinner. The evening ends with relaxation around the campfire or under a blanket of stars, followed by a peaceful night’s rest in the heart of the wilderness.

Exploration and Authentic Bush Experience

The day begins early with a sunrise game drive, one of the best times to encounter predators returning from a night’s hunt and wildlife gathering at water points. Accompanied by experienced guides, guests explore the vast wilderness while learning about animal behaviour, tracking techniques, and the park’s ecosystem.

After returning to camp for a late breakfast, guests have time to relax, enjoy the swimming pool, or unwind. A leisurely lunch is served at camp before guests head out once again for a late afternoon game drive, offering another exciting opportunity to explore different areas of the park and spot elephants, buffalo, giraffes, antelope, and possibly lions, leopards, or wild dogs as the bush comes alive in the cooler hours of the day.

As the sun sets over the wilderness, guests return to Robins Camp for dinner, where they can share stories of the day’s unforgettable wildlife encounters in a warm and welcoming atmosphere before settling in for the night.

Extended Safari Activities

On the final day, guests rise early for one last morning game drive in Hwange National Park, making the most of their final hours in the wilderness. The early morning offers excellent opportunities to spot predators returning from a night’s hunt, witness elephants gathering at waterholes, and take in the beauty of the bush as it awakens for the day.

After the game drive, guests return to Robins Camp for breakfast before checking out and departing with unforgettable memories of their safari adventure. They are then transferred back to Victoria Falls, reflecting on the incredible wildlife encounters and breathtaking landscapes experienced during their time in Hwange.
