Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, clients make their own way to Arusha unless an optional airport transfer is arranged in advance at an extra cost. If booked, you will be picked up from the airport and transferred to Arusha Farm House, a peaceful lodge set in beautiful natural surroundings just outside Arusha. This day is reserved for rest and relaxation after your journey, allowing time to unwind, acclimatize, and enjoy the calm atmosphere of the farm. Depending on your arrival time, you may relax at the lodge, explore the gardens, or opt for a short visit to Arusha town to experience local markets, culture, and cuisine. In the evening, meet your safari guide for a welcome briefing and dinner, during which the full safari itinerary will be explained, setting the tone for the adventure ahead.
