Arrive at Hosea Kutako International Airport in Windhoek. A driver meets you and transfers you to your mid‑range guesthouse. Depending on arrival time, relax at the lodge or enjoy a short city tour to see Independence Avenue, the Christuskirche and vibrant markets. Dinner is served at the lodge's restaurant. This day sets the tone for your Namibia adventure.

Day 2

Etosha National Park Safari

Etosha National Park Safari

After breakfast, depart Windhoek for Etosha National Park. Arrive at Okaukuejo Camp in time for lunch and an afternoon game drive around the Okaukuejo waterhole, famous for its wildlife concentrations. Spend the evening watching animals gather at the illuminated waterhole and enjoy dinner at the camp restaurant.

More Etosha Safari

Continue exploring different waterholes and the vast Etosha salt pan to maximize wildlife sightings, and return to camp for meals and relaxation between the drives. Spend a full day exploring Etosha’s plains and salt pans. Morning and afternoon game drives offer opportunities to spot elephants, lions, rhinos and giraffes. Between drives, relax at Okaukuejo Camp or watch wildlife gather at the waterhole.

Damaraland & Twyfelfontein

Damaraland & Twyfelfontein

Drive west into the rugged landscapes of Damaraland. Visit the UNESCO-listed Twyfelfontein rock engravings, which showcase ancient San rock art. En route you may see desert-adapted elephants wandering the arid plains and dry riverbeds. After exploring the rock formations, head to your lodge, where you can enjoy sundowners overlooking the dramatic scenery. Dinner will be served at the lodge, giving you time to relax and reflect on the day's sights.

Day 5

Skeleton Coast & Swakopmund

Skeleton Coast & Swakopmund

Today we leave Damaraland and continue westward towards the Atlantic coast. The road takes us along the rugged Skeleton Coast, famous for its shipwrecks, desert landscapes and colonies of seals. We'll stop at Cape Cross to visit the world's largest colony of Cape fur seals. Afterward, we continue south towards the charming town of Swakopmund. You will arrive in Swakopmund in time for lunch, and the rest of the afternoon is free for you to explore this coastal town. Take a stroll along the promenade, visit the local museums or simply relax by the beach. Dinner is not included tonight; you can choose from one of the many excellent seafood restaurants in town.

Today is a free day in the coastal town of Swakopmund. After breakfast at the hotel, you can choose how to spend your time. Swakopmund is renowned for its adventure activities and German colonial architecture. Options include sandboarding down the nearby dunes, quad biking across the desert, or embarking on a boat tour on Walvis Bay to spot dolphins, pelicans, and seals. Those seeking a more relaxed day can wander around the town’s charming streets, visit the local museum, or shop for handicrafts at the open-air markets. Take a stroll along the oceanfront promenade and admire the old lighthouse. Lunch and dinner are on your own account, so you can sample one of Swakopmund’s many cafes or seafood restaurants. Overnight at your hotel.

This morning you depart from Swakopmund heading south through the ever-changing landscapes of the Namib Desert. The drive offers spectacular vistas as you cross the gravel plains and mountain passes. You'll pass by the Kuiseb Canyon and the Gaub Pass, stopping for photo opportunities along the way. Along the route you'll also see the tropic of Capricorn sign and might encounter desert wildlife like springbok and ostrich. Upon arrival in Sesriem, settle into your mid-range Desert Camp, which offers comfortable tents with en suite bathrooms and stunning views of the desert. The rest of the afternoon is free to relax at the pool or enjoy a sundowner as the sun sets over the distant dunes. Dinner is served at camp.

Sossusvlei & Deadvlei

Rise early to watch the sunrise over the red dunes of Sossusvlei, one of the highlights of any Namibian safari. After a light breakfast, drive into the Namib-Naukluft Park and climb one of the towering dunes such as Dune 45 or Big Daddy for panoramic views. Continue deeper into the desert to reach the surreal white clay pan of Deadvlei, dotted with ancient camelthorn trees. Learn about the unique ecology of this desert environment as you explore. Later visit Sesriem Canyon, a narrow gorge carved by the Tsauchab River. Return to Desert Camp for lunch and a restful afternoon, with time to swim or relax. In the evening, enjoy dinner under the stars at camp.

Today you leave the coastal and desert regions behind and make your way back to Windhoek. After breakfast, you set off through the scenic Remhoogte Pass, stopping en route for a picnic-style lunch and to take in the wide open vistas of the Namibian highlands. You arrive in the capital by late afternoon and return to Villa Vista Guesthouse for your final night. Spend the evening relaxing at the guesthouse or exploring more of the city at your own pace. A farewell dinner will be enjoyed either at the guesthouse or at one of Windhoek’s recommended restaurants, reminiscing about the adventure you have just experienced.
