Your safari begins with an exciting scenic drive from Nairobi to the legendary Masai Mara, offering breathtaking views of Kenya’s countryside, open savannah, and rural landscapes along the way. Upon arrival at your luxury lodge, you’ll check in and enjoy lunch before heading out on your first afternoon game drive—your introduction to one of Africa’s most wildlife-rich ecosystems. That evening, your first Inspire & Explore presentation, Welcome to Africa, sets the tone for the journey ahead.

The following day, you’ll enjoy morning and afternoon game drives that take you deeper into the heart of the Masai Mara, including prime wildlife areas such as the Mara Triangle. Between drives, you’ll have time to relax at camp, reflect on the day’s sightings, and soak in the beauty of the surroundings. Day 4-5

The Call of the Northern Serengeti

In the morning, you’ll board the first of two quick scenic bush flights as you journey into Tanzania and onward to the Northern Serengeti, one of the most remote and wildlife-rich regions of the park. Upon landing at the airstrip, your guide will meet you and transfer you to your lodge, where you’ll enjoy lunch and time to rest while taking in sweeping views of the vast plains and river corridors. Later in the afternoon, you’ll head out on your first Northern Serengeti game drive, exploring an area famed for big cats, massive herds, and—if traveling in summer—the breathtaking spectacle of the Great Migration, including potential Mara River crossings

The following day features both morning and afternoon game drives, allowing you to explore deeper into this dramatic and untamed landscape. That evening, Dr. Jensen will share another of his Inspire & Explore presentation, adding reflection and meaning to your safari experience beneath the African night sky.

Over the next two days, you’ll journey into the Central Serengeti, the beating heart of this legendary ecosystem and one of the best year-round wildlife viewing regions in Africa. Known for its wide-open plains, granite kopjes, and dense predator populations, this area offers exceptional opportunities to spot lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, and massive herds of wildebeest and zebra.

Between drives, you’ll return to your lodge or camp to relax, enjoy freshly prepared meals, and take in sweeping views of the Serengeti stretching to the horizon. To the Garden of Eden of Africa - Ngorongoro Crater

Depart Central Serengeti early in the morning and enjoy a scenic drive toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, passing sweeping plains and volcanic highlands along the way. By late morning or midday, you’ll arrive at the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater before descending into the crater floor for an unforgettable game drive in one of Africa’s most wildlife-dense ecosystems, home to black rhinos, lions, elephants, hippos, flamingos, and vast grazing herds.

Midday, enjoy a special bush lunch inside the crater, surrounded by breathtaking scenery and the sounds of the wild. After lunch, continue your game drive across the crater’s diverse habitats before ascending back to the rim in the late afternoon. Stop at a scenic lookout point for a brief Inspire & Explore reflection, then continue to your rimside camp, arriving in time for sunset, dinner, and a relaxing evening.
