Day 1

Early in the morning, around 6:00 AM (pickup time may vary by hotel location), you will be transferred to the airport for your 8:00 AM flight from Dar es Salaam to the Central Serengeti, arriving at Seronera Airstrip at approximately 10:50 AM. Upon arrival, you will be met by your professional safari guide and begin your game drive immediately.

Experience the world-famous Serengeti National Park, known for its vast open plains and incredible wildlife. The park is home to large herds of buffalo, wildebeest, elephants, giraffes, eland, impalas, and Grant’s gazelles, as well as iconic predators such as lions and leopards. Enjoy an exhilarating game drive through this remarkable landscape, pause for a picnic lunch, and continue exploring the park’s diverse wildlife.

In the late afternoon, return to your lodge or camp to relax, enjoy dinner, and spend the night immersed in the sounds of the African wilderness.

Day 2

Extended Game Drive in the Serengeti

After an early breakfast, you will depart at around 6:30 AM for a full-day game drive, spending approximately six to seven hours exploring the incredible landscapes of the Serengeti. This world-renowned park boasts remarkable biodiversity, with abundant wildlife such as impalas, buffalo, and hippos, along with its legendary migratory herds—around 250,000 zebras, 1.5 million wildebeest, and nearly 500,000 antelope. Driven by seasonal rains, this awe-inspiring migration transforms the ecosystem each year.

Throughout the day, keep watch for the Serengeti’s iconic predators, including lions, cheetahs, and the elusive leopard, as you enjoy an immersive safari experience across the vast plains. Later in the afternoon, you will travel to your accommodation located on Karatu near to the Ngorongoro gate, where you will enjoy dinner and an overnight stay.

After a hearty breakfast, you will depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area to enjoy a thrilling game drive.
A UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area is celebrated for its extraordinary natural beauty and cultural importance.

Descending into the crater offers outstanding wildlife viewing, with chances to spot the Big Five—lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and the rare black rhino—alongside diverse birdlife, including flamingos found around the crater’s lakes. The dramatic landscapes and dense wildlife make every moment unforgettable, so keep your camera ready.

In the afternoon, you will transfer to Arusha Airport to catch your 4:30 PM flight back to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, a guide will meet you and transfer you to your hotel for dinner and a relaxing overnight stay.
