The hike is invigorating, each step drawing you deeper into the wilderness until the unforgettable moment arrives you come face to face with a gorilla family in their natural habitat. Watching them feed, play, and move with quiet strength is awe inspiring, and the hour spent with them feels timeless. After trekking back, you return to the lodge for lunch and a chance to refresh before beginning the scenic drive to Kigali.
