Day 1

We will arrange for our driver to pick you up from the airport and take you to your accommodations in Arusha, where you can relax and prepare for the adventures ahead.

Arusha, also known as “A-Town” by the locals, is located at the base of Mount Meru, Africa’s fifth-highest mountain. The city’s high altitude provides a pleasant climate and a lush green environment. While some visitors may not consider Arusha particularly attractive, it is a necessary stopover before embarking on this safari adventure.

Day 2

Arusha - Tarangire National Park

Arusha - Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, you will depart from Arusha and transfer to Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive. The park is famous for its large herds of elephants, majestic baobab trees, and diverse wildlife including lions, giraffes, zebras, and many bird species.

Enjoy an exciting wildlife experience as you explore the beautiful landscapes of Tarangire. A picnic lunch will be provided inside the park at a designated picnic site, allowing you to relax and take in the natural surroundings.

After the game drive, you will depart the park and continue to Karatu for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 3

Karatu - Serengeti National Park

Karatu - Serengeti National Park

After breakfast, you will depart from Karatu and transfer to Serengeti National Park, one of Africa’s most famous wildlife destinations. The Serengeti is renowned for its vast endless plains, abundant wildlife, and the spectacular Great Migration of wildebeest and zebras.

Upon arrival, you will enjoy a game drive across the park, where you may spot lions, elephants, cheetahs, giraffes, and many other animals in their natural habitat. A picnic lunch will be provided inside the park at a scenic picnic site, allowing you to relax while surrounded by nature.

After the game drive, you will continue to your accommodation inside the park for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 4

Northern Serengeti National Park

Northern Serengeti National Park

Wake up early and have a full breakfast. Afterward, you will embark on a full-day game drive in the Serengeti. The driver will take you to key areas of the park to ensure you have ample time to explore and witness the Great Wildebeest Migration.

The Great Migration varies each year. The best chance to see it is from June to September. Wildebeest calving occurs from January to March. From July to September, the driver will take you to the Northern Serengeti to observe the wildebeest crossing the Mara River. Throughout the year, about 1.5 million wildebeest travel across the plains, following rainfall in search of fresh grazing and water. Then drive back to central Serengeti for dinner and over night stay.

Day 5

Today your game drive continues from the Northern Serengeti to the Central Serengeti, the landscape shifting from rolling hills and riverbanks to expansive open plains. You’ll see large herds of wildebeest and zebras, as well as predators like lions, cheetahs, and leopards. The Central Serengeti is known for its abundant wildlife, including buffalo, elephants, and giraffes. The rivers in this area attract hippos and crocodiles, offering excellent opportunities to spot the “Big Five” and observe diverse wildlife in action.

Day 6

Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, you will depart from the Central Serengeti and transfer to the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most breathtaking natural wonders. The crater is famous for its stunning landscapes and high concentration of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, and the rare black rhino.

Upon arrival, you will descend into the crater for an exciting game drive across the crater floor, where wildlife viewing is excellent throughout the year. A picnic lunch will be provided inside the crater at a designated picnic site near the hippo pool, offering a relaxing break surrounded by incredible scenery.

After the game drive, you will ascend the crater and transfer to your accommodation for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, you will depart from Karatu and transfer to Lake Eyasi, a seasonal soda lake located at the base of the Great Rift Valley. Lake Eyasi is famous for its cultural experiences with the Hadzabe and Datoga tribes, as well as its beautiful natural scenery and birdlife.

Upon arrival, you will explore the area and enjoy the unique cultural interactions and surrounding landscapes. A picnic lunch will be provided during your excursion, allowing you to relax and take in the peaceful environment.

After the visit, you will drive back to Arusha for dinner and an overnight stay at your accommodation.

After breakfast, you will depart from Arusha and transfer to Materuni Waterfalls, located on the slopes of Mount Kilimanjaro. This beautiful waterfall is surrounded by lush greenery and offers a refreshing nature walk through local villages and coffee plantations.

Upon arrival, you will enjoy a guided hike to the waterfall and have time to relax and take in the stunning scenery. A picnic lunch will be provided during your excursion.

After the visit, you will drive back to Arusha for your departure transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport. If needed, extra accommodation in Arusha can be arranged at your own cost.
