Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by our safari representative and transferred to Mount Meru Hotel in Arusha.

The rest of the day is at leisure to relax after your journey. In the evening, enjoy dinner at the hotel and receive a safari briefing from your guide.

Arusha – Tarangire National Park – Karatu

After breakfast, depart Arusha for Tarangire National Park, famous for its large elephant herds, ancient baobab trees, and diverse wildlife.

Enjoy a full game drive with a picnic lunch inside the park. Wildlife sightings may include lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, and a wide variety of birdlife.

In the late afternoon, drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight at Bougainvillea Safari Lodge.

Karatu – Ngorongoro Crater – Serengeti National Park

After an early breakfast, depart from Karatu with picnic lunch and drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive in this UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The crater floor hosts an exceptional density of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, zebras, wildebeests, and offers one of the best chances to spot the endangered black rhino.

After the crater safari and picnic lunch, ascend from the crater and continue towards Serengeti National Park, enjoying scenic views of the highlands and Maasai plains. Arrive in the Serengeti in the late afternoon with an en-route game drive, then proceed to Into Wild Tented Camp for dinner and overnight.

Full-Day Serengeti Safari

After breakfast, depart for a full-day game drive in Serengeti National Park. Explore vast plains and rocky kopjes in search of lions, leopards, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, and large herds of plains game.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush, followed by continued wildlife viewing throughout the afternoon. Return to camp in the late afternoon for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.
