Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you will be met by your professional safari guide and transferred to Hotel in Arusha.

The rest of the day is at leisure to relax and recover from your journey. A safari briefing will be provided in the evening.

Arusha – Tarangire National Park – Karatu

After breakfast, depart Arusha for Tarangire National Park, renowned for its large elephant herds, iconic baobab trees, and rich wildlife diversity.

Enjoy a game drive with picnic lunch inside the park. Wildlife sightings may include lions, leopards, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, buffaloes, and a wide variety of birdlife.

In the late afternoon, drive to Karatu for dinner and overnight at Eileen’s Tree Inn.

Karatu – Ndutu (Calving Area)

After breakfast, depart Karatu and drive towards the Ndutu area, part of the southern Serengeti ecosystem.

Arrive in time for an afternoon game drive across the Ndutu plains, the heart of the Great Migration calving season (January–March). Expect massive herds of wildebeest and zebras, newborn calves, and intense predator activity.

Full-Day Ndutu Calving Safari

After an early breakfast, enjoy a full-day game drive in the Ndutu area. This is the prime period to witness calving, predator-prey interactions, and dramatic wildlife scenes.

Enjoy a picnic lunch in the bush, followed by continued exploration of the Ndutu plains and seasonal lakes.

Return to the lodge in the late afternoon for relaxation, dinner, and overnight.

Ndutu – Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

After an early breakfast, depart Ndutu with picnic lunch and drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive, home to lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, flamingos, and one of the best chances to spot the endangered black rhino.

After the safari, ascend from the crater and continue to Arusha for dinner and overnight.
