Karatu – Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast at Lodge, depart for Karatu and continue to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.

Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a half-day game drive, exploring this UNESCO World Heritage Site. The crater floor hosts a remarkable variety of wildlife including lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, zebras, wildebeests, and offers one of the best chances to see the endangered black rhino.

Enjoy a picnic lunch inside the crater, then ascend to the rim for breathtaking views of the crater and surrounding highlands. In the late afternoon, check in at Lodge for dinner and overnight.
