On Day 1, the adventure begins with an early morning flight from Zanzibar to the Northern Serengeti, usually via Arusha. Upon arrival, guests are transferred to their tented or lodge accommodation in the remote northern region, a less-visited area known for its dramatic landscapes and abundant wildlife. In the afternoon, the safari continues with a game drive through the Northern Serengeti, offering the first opportunity to witness wildebeest herds, zebras, and the region’s impressive population of big cats. The evening is spent at the camp, enjoying dinner under the African sky and reflecting on the excitement of the day.

Northern serengeti To Central Serengeti

The day starts with an early morning game drive, offering guests the chance to see animals at their most lively. After enjoying breakfast at the camp, the journey heads south toward the Seronera region in central Serengeti. Along the route, travelers can take in both wildlife encounters and the sweeping, open landscapes of the Serengeti plains. Once in Seronera, an afternoon game drive showcases the area’s rich diversity of wildlife, including lions, leopards, elephants, and other species commonly found here. The day ends with a spectacular sunset over the plains, followed by dinner and an overnight stay at a lodge or tented camp in Seronera.

Central Serengeti - Fly to Zanzibar

After a hearty breakfast at the camp, set out on a morning game drive through the heart of the Central Serengeti. This is the perfect opportunity to explore the park’s iconic landscapes and observe a wide variety of wildlife in their natural habitats, from herds of wildebeest and zebras to lions, cheetahs, and elephants. Take time to enjoy the open plains, rolling hills, and occasional acacia-dotted savannahs that make the Serengeti so unforgettable.

Later in the morning, begin the scenic drive toward Seronera Airstrip, where you will board a flight back to Zanzibar. During the drive, there may be additional chances for quick wildlife sightings and photography as you pass through some of the Serengeti’s most picturesque areas. Upon arrival at the airstrip, you’ll take a short flight back to Zanzibar, where the next chapter of your adventure awaits.
