Arusha to Tarangire National Park

After an early morning pickup from your hotel in Arusha, you will depart by 4x4 safari vehicle toward Tarangire National Park, approximately a 2–3 hour drive. Upon arrival, you begin a comprehensive game drive through one of Tanzania’s most underrated yet wildlife-rich parks.

Tarangire is famous for its vast elephant populations, massive baobab trees, and the Tarangire River, which serves as a permanent water source and attracts wildlife year-round. During the game drive, you may encounter elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, impalas, warthogs, and predators such as lions and leopards. The park is also a haven for birdlife, with over 500 recorded species.
