ARK/JRO – Tarangire National Park

Your safari begins with a morning pickup from Kilimanjaro International Airport or your accommodation in the Kilimanjaro area. After a safari briefing, depart for Tarangire National Park, renowned for its magnificent baobab trees, large elephant herds, and diverse wildlife.

Enjoy a full-day game drive exploring the park, with opportunities to see elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and numerous bird species. A packed picnic lunch will be provided at a designated scenic picnic area during the game drive.

In the late afternoon, leave the park and drive to your lodge for dinner and overnight.

Lake Eyasi Cultural Experience

After breakfast, depart for Lake Eyasi, a remote and culturally fascinating area. Here, you will have the opportunity to meet members of the Hadzabe community and learn about their traditional hunting and gathering lifestyle.

Continue with a visit to the Datoga community, where you can learn about their traditional way of life, craftsmanship, and metalworking skills.

A packed picnic lunch will be provided during the excursion. In the afternoon, return to Karatu for a relaxing evening.

Upon entering the park, begin your game drive, exploring the surrounding areas in search of lions, elephants, cheetahs, leopards, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and other wildlife.

Enjoy a packed picnic lunch at a designated scenic picnic area, allowing you to maximize your time exploring the park.

Continue with an afternoon game drive before heading to your accommodation for dinner and overnight.

Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha / Kilimanjaro Airport

After an early breakfast, depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and descend into the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater for a morning game drive.

Explore the crater floor, home to an impressive concentration of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeest, hippos, and, with some luck, the endangered black rhino.

Enjoy a packed picnic lunch at a designated picnic area within the crater before continuing with your final game-drive activities.

After ascending from the crater, continue to Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), depending on your onward travel arrangements.
