Upon arrival in Entebbe/or at your hotel, you will be met by your guide and driven to Kibale Forest to begin your Ugandan safari. As you leave Entebbe, you’ll have wonderful views of Lake Victoria as you bypass the busy city of Kampala. You'll then make your way through Uganda's stunning countryside to your lodge in Fort Portal, at the foot of the Rwenzori Mountains and the base of the Kibale Forest.

Begin with an 8 am briefing before trekking deep into Kibale Forest to track resident chimpanzees. After breakfast at your lodge in Kibale, you’ll travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park at the base of the Rwenzori Mountain Range, adjacent to Lake Edward and Lake George. This spectacular national park is full of game and it is known for its large elephant population. After checking in to your lodge, you’ll head out for an afternoon boat safari on the Kazinga channel and a sundowner (sunset experience) before dinner.

Our guide will drive you across the scenic Uganda/Rwanda border. This will take 3 hours to the border and a further 3 to the airport, to end the safari or take an extra time or night in the smartest city Kigali, this provides lots of optional activities in the city like a visit to the markets or the kigali genocide memorial.
