Upon arrival in Entebbe/or at your hotel, you will be met by your guide and driven to Kibale Forest to begin your Ugandan safari. As you leave Entebbe, you’ll have wonderful views of Lake Victoria as you bypass the busy city of Kampala. You'll then make your way through Uganda's stunning countryside to your lodge in Fort Portal, at the foot of the Rwenzori Mountains and the base of the Kibale Forest.

Begin with an 8 am briefing before trekking deep into Kibale Forest to track resident chimpanzees. As the jungle comes alive with their calls, you’ll spend a magical hour observing families interact and play in the canopy. The forest also hosts rare monkeys and vibrant giant butterflies. Following your trek, we recommend the swamp walk, a guided journey through stunning landscapes to meet a local community and discover rare wildlife in this unique and challenging environment.
The Bigodi Community experience offers an enriching cultural encounter on the edge of Kibale Forest. After breakfast at your lodge in Kibale, you’ll travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park at the base of the Rwenzori Mountain Range, adjacent to Lake Edward and Lake George. This spectacular national park is full of game and it is known for its large elephant population. After checking in to your lodge, you’ll head out for an afternoon boat safari on the Kazinga channel and a sundowner (sunset experience) before dinner.

Today you’ll have a full day to explore Queen Elizabeth National Park. As the day unfolds, journey south to the remote Ishasha sector, famed for its rare tree-climbing lions. Bwindi to Kigali

On your last morning, you will enjoy breakfast at your spectacular lodge. Once you're ready, your best of Uganda's wildlife tour will come to a perfect end. Our guide will drive you across the scenic Uganda/Rwanda border. This will take 3 hours to the border and a further 3 to the airport, to end the safari or take an extra time or night in the smartest city Kigali, this provides lots of optional activities in the city like a visit to the markets or the kigali genocide memorial.
