After breakfast, you will depart Tarangire and begin your journey toward the remote and dramatic landscapes of Lake Natron. Day 3

Following breakfast, you will continue your journey toward the world-renowned Serengeti National Park. After an early breakfast, you will depart Serengeti and drive toward the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. You will descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa’s most remarkable natural wonders and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The crater floor supports a dense population of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, zebras, wildebeests, hippos, and, with some luck, the endangered black rhinoceros. After a rewarding game drive and picnic lunch inside the crater, you will ascend and continue your journey toward Lake Eyasi. Today is dedicated to authentic cultural experiences around Lake Eyasi. Early in the morning, you will visit the Hadzabe tribe, one of the last remaining hunter-gatherer communities in East Africa. You will learn about their traditional hunting methods, use of bows and arrows, and survival skills that have been passed down through generations. Later, you will visit the Datoga tribe, known for their skilled blacksmithing and strong cultural traditions.
